Usually I don't feel much about Mid-autumn Festival coz my mummy would be the one preparing all the stuffs, be it praying early in the morning, buying loads and loads of mooncakes at least few weeks before, relatives coming to our house to give us mooncakes. So basically, I was not very actively involved in the whole Mid-autumn Festival preparation. Until this year.
We started frantically looking for all the necessity for praying at very last minute coz of our busy schedules. Bought flowers, fruits, etc.... and only went to buy mooncakes last Sunday. Haha... Yeah! We're very last minute couple.
We went to the Mooncake fair @ Taka. And it was so very super crowded. We only managed to try a few booths before deciding to buy mooncakes from the Swissotel booth.
Bought 3 boxes in total, 1 for in-laws, 1 for my parents, and 1 for ourselves. We spent a total of $170. Hahaha...

The mooncake was not the traditional round shaped ones though. Which initially, Darling thought that there was some problem with the hotel's mould. Hahahahahah...

We bought the ones with macadamia nuts. We love macadamia nuts with chocolate. But never thought that macadamia nuts in mooncake can be so yummilicious too. There's many hotel booths selling mooncakes with macadamia nuts this year. However, I kinda miss mooncakes with melon seeds though.

And sadly, coz of the cloudy sky at my place. I couldn't see the round round moon. *cry cry*
