Hong Kong Day 2

View from our room the next morning was awesome! We woke up early for our 2nd day in Disneyland. Yes, we've got 2-days pass to the Disneyland park.
We skipped the Adventure Land on the first day. So basically for our second day in the park, our aim was to finish all the rides, or at least most of the rides.

Breakfast was at another cafe in the hotel.
I've always heard about HK's famous pineapple bun (aka bo luo bao) from HK serial dramas, have wanted to try it long ago. And so, Darling purposely ordered the pineapple bun for me. Yummy!

Happy us.

However, the moment we finished breakfast, it started to rain very very heavily. *cries* We had already checked out of our room, therefore, we got to wait in the hotel lobby for the rain to stop. =(

After some time, we decided to brace ourselves through the rain and went ahead with our plans.

This is a crystal shop. The figurines were all very exquisite. I so wanted to buy them all. But I think Darling's heart will bleed if we were to buy anything home from there. Haha... But I really wanted the Beauty & the Beast figurine. =(
All the Disney princesses behind me.

The Grumpy dwarf. Didn't see the other 6 dwarves though.

The castle!

The man concentrating real hard on shaping the crystals.

Next was Adventure Land. But due to the irritating weather, all the outdoor rides were closed. Arghhh.

I was very amazed why this stick could still burn under the heavy rain. Btw, this was not the only one in Adventure Land.

We were left with no choice but to try all other indoor stuffs. Hence, we ended up here.

It was a 3D theatre. But I guarantee that you won't regret watching it. Though the 3D graphics were not very impressive (Darling and I had watched much better ones in Singapore), the actual "feel" of the show was much more entertaining. Example, when the show showed Donald Duck flying in the sky, you could actually feel the wind. When the show showed water splashing, there was actually water splashing onto you! Aiya, you won't feel the impact unless you watch it there yourself. So, you must go must go okay!

Next was back at the carousel again. Hehe... I love it love it.

By the time we were done with the carousel, some of the outdoor rides were in operation again. Yeah! And we rushed over to try the Dumbo before the queue got too long again.

Then, we rushed back to the Adventure Land for the boat ride. It was ultra long queue the day before, thought it must be fun.
All the animals and people along the river were all fake. But timid me was still frightened by the sudden pop-outs of these animals and effects from the water.
When we were near the fire cave, we could actually feel the water boiling under our boat. For a second, I really thought we were going to sink. Haha... Stupid me.

Next, was back at the TomorrowLand to try the AstroBuster which we missed the day before.
It was a shooting game. I beat Darling by 10,000 over points. Wanted to snap a photo of our score, but didn't manage to. =( Anyway Darling was feeling unwell after all the turning around during the ride. *sayang sayang*

Lunch was at the fastfood restaurant in the park.

Last shot with the castle before we left the park.

Thereafter, we took a train to leave Disneyland. The very cute train which only serves between Disneyland and Sunny Bay station.

We alighted at Sunny Bay, and changed to a normal train to go Tung Chung station.

We actually wanted to go to the Giant Buddha from Tung Chung station. But by the time we reached the bus terminal, it was a little too late. The Giant Buddha would have been closed by the time we reached. Yes, Buddha also needs to rest. =) And so, we went to this shopping mall beside the MTR (not wrong spelling okay, their MRT is called MTR) station.

This is a condo beside the station. Very very high huh. Looks quite expensive too. Haha... In fact, there were alot of such condos everywhere in HK. Guess they must be very rich. Wonder if there is any celebrity staying there. Haha...

Dinner was at Food Republic in the mall. Darling had pork chop rice, and I had wanton mee. The wanton was yummilicous, except that I found it too salty. =)

This mall is amazing. The whole mall is full of factory outlets of different famous brands. They had Nike, Addidas, Puma, Crocs, Esprit, Burberry, Coach, and many many many more. All selling goodies at half, or more than half of the original price. Of coz we didn't bother to check out the Burberry and Caoch outlets, coz we're not the branded people. Hehe... We burst our budget here all thanks to Nike, Crocs and Esprit. Hahaha...
Darling and I were thinking if there should be another HK trip, we would just focus our itinerary on this Citygate Outlets and Disneyland will do. Hehe...

We rushed back to Disneyland for the agency to fetch us to our hotel in Yau Ma Tei. While waiting in the bus, we caught lil' glimpse of the fireworks in Disneyland. *cries*

Night view along the way to our hotel.

Our hotel in Dorsett Seaview Hotel was horrendous. We didn't even have the mood to take a photo of the room, coz it was way too small. Poor Darling was bitten by bed bugs the first and second nights, and we requested for change of room the third day. Our fault for trying to save cost. After this lesson, we've decided to insist on 4-stars or better hotels in future. No more 3-stars.

End of Day 2.

Ta-ta.
