End of Mattress Hunt

After 4 months of mattress hunt, going to Simmons, Sealy and Serta boutique over and over again, we had finally ended our search on Tuesday. WooHooo...

After waiting for Darling to finish his remedial in the morning, we went to Marina Square to settle our mattress stuffs. Finally, decided to buy Serta mattress.
Here's a lil' research we had done for the passed 4 months.

If you have been searching for good mattress, you would have known that in Singapore, there are the 3 big S, Simmons, Sealy and Serta.

Sealy:
Very plush, very soft feel. Spring support is the same as Simmons. It's posturepedic technology is different from other pocketed coil technology which most brands are using, including Simmons and Serta. Sealy claimed that their posturepedic technology is the latest compared to the pocketed coil which is already in the market for decades. Sealy has lifetime warranty and is one of the biggest supplier of mattresses to many big hotels. However, as the posturepedic technology involves interlocked coils, plus the mattress to usually soft, the motion transfer is ultra big. disturbance between 2 people can be felt totally. Might be good for singles, but not for couples, though its plush feel is really shiok! Moreover, my man needs to go toilet very often in the night, hence, Sealy is totally out of our mind.

Simmons:
Much firmer mattress compared to Sealy. If you really want to buy plushy ones, the price range is about $6k to $8k. Minimal motion transfer coz of its individual pocketed coil technology. Has 10 years warranty. However, due to its large publicity on many media, prices are relatively higher than the other brands. Hence, you are paying more for their advertising fees. Therefore, too ex for us.

Serta:
Feel is as close as Simmons. Minimal motion transfer coz Serta is also using individual pocketed coil technology. Serta has some range which includes softer spring, hence, softer mattress, but support is the same. Also has 10 years warranty. Serta has a more reasonable price range. Plus, you get 50% off their bed frame when you buy their mattress. Therefore, decided to buy Serta.

Thereafter, caught a movie, Green Zone.

Dinner was at Dian Xiao Er, was our first time there. Food was ultra nice, but we were too full to finish the food.

The mattress comes with 2 pillows, 1 mattress protector, and a free sheep! Initially the salesman only allowed us to choose sheep with number 1 to 9. He mentioned that he only had a few sheeps with double digits left in the shop. While I was still thinking hard on what number to take, Darling blurted out number 16, coz it was the date we were together, it was also the date we had our solemnization. And to our surprise, the shop really had this number!
We're ultra lucky huh!

Anyway, work in process now is this!
Decided to do this cross-stitch as a gift for ourselves. My aim would be to finish this before our wedding. This is what I have done for the passed 4 weekends.
