Korea Day 7

Day 7: 24th Dec 2008

This was our last day in Korea. We checked out our hotel early in the morning, with our big big luggage bags, after so many days of shopping. Haha...

After breakfast, our first itinerary of the day was 景福宫. Dunnoe whether is 宫,我的野蛮王妃filmed here. But it was not as nice as what was shown on TV la. Anyway, these were real guards guarding the entrance of the palace. They were not actors ok. They are not allowed to move an inch, or make any facial expression at all. Waaaa, if i were these guards, pls kill me. Hahaha. However, the security was quite tight again, we were only allowed to take photos with selected few guards only.

The palace was ultra big. But not as big as the Forbidden City in China la of coz.

Inside this palace, our guide told us that if we were able to spot 2 dragons in the ceiling, we will be able to 升官发财 in the following year. And so everyone went to look for the dragons frantically. Haha...

We couldn't see any dragons at the front door. Until somebody told us that we had to go to the side door. And true enough, we could see the 2 golden dragons in the ceiling. Haha...

And so, our guide told us, the moral of the story is "要升官发财,就要走旁门左道。" haha... interesting right?

And more photos in the palace.

Chandelle and Minni again. Hehe...

Next, was their 女人街. It's called 女人街 every shop along the street was selling ladies stuffs, and there was a women university nearby. This was also the place where I bought 4 bags within 2 hours. Haha... The bags there was dirt cheap can. SGD10 for one. Who can resist this temptation. Actually their clothes and shoes were very cheap too. But too bad, they only had winter clothing. Else, I guess I could buy the whole Korea back. Haha...

Lunch was on our own again. We had this subway-lookalike sandwich.

Thereafter, our guide brought us to their local provision shops to buy tidbits, before we went to the airport.

Last photo of lil' Chandelle.

And last photo of us.

Goodbye Korea. Dunnoe when I will be back again. =(

But I really enjoyed the whole trip. =)
