Let me start the whole update with us at Darling's house @ exactly 12am on the 11th September. I surprised him with a card which took me 3 nights to finish. Phew!
Very nice right. I'm contemplating whether I should start a blogshop selling handmade cards. But first, I need to upgrade myself more. Hmm... Maybe when we start to have our own children, when I decide to quit my job to be a housewife, that can be my money-earning machine. =)
Darling received 2 cards this year. 1 from me. And one from his papa and mama. Very sweet right. Hehe...
We were supposed to check in at the Costa Sands Sentosa chalet at 2.30pm. But but but... Just when we were about to leave the house, my dearest Darling's computer got fried! Yes, literally fried! Sparks seen and black smoke coming out from his CPU. So, no choice but to send his computer down to Sim Lim for repair. And worse of all, it was raining heavily. Luckily Darling's papa sent us to the MRT station before we made our way to VivoCity.
Had our lunch @ Food Republic. Applied for the Islander card, so that we can get in and out of the island freely. And took the Sentosa Express. By then, the rain had already stopped. Lucky!
We squeezed onto this tram to our chalet.
The room was ok. Luckily not as bad as the Dorsett Seaview hotel room we stayed when we were in HK. This is so so so much better. Except that the corridor looked abit rundown.
From our room, we could see the swimming pool.
Next, was walk walk along the Siloso Beach.
Last year, I treated Darling to Tung Lok's Humble House for his birthday dinner. This year, I continue to choose Tung Lok, but @ Tung Lok's signature. Price is around what Crystal Jade charges, or slightly more expensive. But it is much more class than Crystal Jade, service is much better, ambience is good, and food is yummilicious. Hehe...
After dinner, was shopping @ Giant, and back to the chalet for "orh orh".
Day 2 coming up. Provided I'm not busy for the next few days. Which is quite highly unlikely. Haha
