Korea Day 6

Day 6: 23rd Dec 2008

Breakfast for the day was not very fantastic though. It was buffet breakfast. Yes, though we were staying in a 6-stars hotel, we didn't have our breakkie there, coz guess it was too too ex.


After breakkie, we left for Korea's Istana. The sercurity there was super duper tight. We were only allowed to take photos at this spot. Any place further away from this spot, the guards would be running to you. Even when we were taking photos here, the police were all eyeing on us. Scarrryyy.

Scenery there was ultra nice.


I just love taking photos with the kids from our group. Hehe...

Especially these 2 princesses, Minghui and Chandelle.

See, there were guards even after some distance away from the Istana.



Lunch for the day was bibimbap and vegetable steamboat. *yummy*



For the rest of the day, we were at the Lotte World. Another themepark. But I still like Everland more. Haha...

Before we entered Lotte World, we saw these big groups of lil' ones. They were having their excursion in Lotte World. OMG. Poor Singapore kids, I guess the only themepark they can go here is Escape Themepark. *yucks* Haha...

Minni caught the 2 Kelvins studying the map so so so closely. Haha... Sooooo cute.

We were given free tickets to 5 rides in the themepark. But we only used 2 tickets. Coz the queue there was madness, mayb coz it was weekends when we were there. Plus, most of the rides were too scary, Hence, the 2 Kelvins had to accomodate Minni and Meiling. Hehe...


Coz of the ultra long queue everywhere, we decided to just take any ride with the shortest queue. And so, we settled with taking a monorail round the themepark.


Lotte World is break up into indoor and outdoor themepark. And so, we braved the cold outside, and went to look see look see the outdoor themepark. Hehe... Oh ya, this is also the filming site for 天国的阶梯.



We only took this at the outdoor themepark. The rest of the rides like Gyro Drop and Bungee Jump were too much for me liao. Haha...


Next, we went back in to queue for another ride. But after 45 minutes of waiting, the crew told us that the ride was not working anymore. Sianzzzzzzzzz... But they compensated us with a "cut-queue ticket", and so, we took this hot air balloon round the themepark.

Dinner was on ourselves. I had fried chicken (the first fastfood I had in Korea. Haha...) and Darling had curry chicken.


I just love the Merry-go-round, but again, the queue was too long... Piang...


At 7pm, it was the start of their parade. The parade was ultra nice. All the costumes and cartoon characters were so fairy-tale. They even had indoor fireworks lor.




We were back in the hotel quite early. So we took a few more photos ard the hotel before going back into our room.


Minni was ultra happy when she saw this electric kettle in the room, coz very "auntie" Minni brought her own Milo satchets there. Haha... And so, sweetie-gf-me made Milo for Darling and myself.


Alright, end of Day 6. One more day to go. Yippie!!!
