Day 3: 20th Dec 2008
On Day 3, we took morning flight back to Seoul. It was much colder in Seoul. So cold until I could write on the window glass. Haha...
Our first destination was the Everland. I must say, it's really MY land. Haha... Darling kept saying I should apply for Everland PR. Haha... How I wish lor...
We arrived at the top of the mountain, and had to take the chairlift to bring us down the mountain.
On the chairlift, we could see this ultra super duper big roller coaster. Too bad Darling didn't try it coz the queue was waaaayyyy too long.
The first thing we played in Everland was to visit the Safari. Our tour guide accompanied us to the safari.
All the passengers in our bus were given red nose. Haha... Not all buses were given ok.
The animals in the top left corner are called Liger. They're the offspring of lion and tiger. Haha... Cute right...
These bears will come next to the bus and do tricks. The driver would feed them biscuits. I still couldn't understand why would these big bears do so many silly things just for 3 small tiny itsy bitsy biscuits. Haha...
After the safari, it was our lunch time. Lunch was by ourselves. We settled at the Everland food court and I ordered Udon. Not very yummy though... =(
Next, was the not scary at all ghost house. Haha...Then we took sleds. Very fun... Like taking slides... Haha...
And more photos...I just love Everland...
Dinner was seafood steamboat. The seafood very ultra fresh, and the soup was excellent. *yum yum*
We checked into the LA Hotel, Sol Beach. It was the BESTEST hotel we had stayed in Korea. Even the last hotel on the last 2 days of the trip, which was a 6-stars hotel, also lost to this.See... Just the hotel lobby is enough to make ur jaws drop. Haha...
The room is spacious, and very cosy. The mini bar and the LCD TV look very classy huh.Oh, the toilet bowl had remote buttons. One press of the buttons you could lift up the toilet seats without touching it. It can also spray water to help you clean your buttock. Haha...
There was a small balcony outside the room. But we did not sit at the balcony at all. For a very simple reason... Coz it was toooooooooooooooooooo cold!
It was still quite early when we settled in the hotel. So, we walked around the hotel.
There was a number of shops at the basement. And surprisingly, there was a board game cafe! (Xiaobai, you wanna tell your bom bom to open one here? Haha...)
What is winter without the not-easily-melted-ice-cream. Haha... So Darling bought me my favourite chocolate ice-cream! Yippie!!Another reason why I love this hotel so so sooooooo much is because it was also at this hotel when we saw snow started falling from the sky the next morning. WooooooooHoooooooo!!! Alright, stay tuned for my Day 4. You would see lotsa snow!!! Haha...
